You came here because you’re looking for a place where you can make a difference.
You’re excited that President Trump made it into office and you know he’ll change things on the national level. But you see things in Knox County that need to change, and you want to be part of that change.
You want to get involved but you don’t know where to start. Where can you find a group of like-minded individuals who are true conservatives to their core? Where can you find a group that won’t back down from a challenge and won’t compromise their conservative values?
You want to be part of a group who will get results…not just sit around and talk. Sometimes it seems like your quest to get involved and make a difference is impossible.
It’s not impossible. In fact, we’re doing it right now.
We are the Knox County Conservative Republicans. Our group was formed to give true conservatives, like you, a voice in our county government. Take a look around our website and if you see something you like, connect with us.
Who are the members of the Knox County Conservative Republicans?
If you look at us closely, you’ll see we’re not that different from you.
We may be your neighbor, your co-worker, your relative or your fellow church member. A lot of us are moms, dads, grandmas or grandpa’s, Some of us are college students, single adults, or young married couples. We come from varying backgrounds and have various degrees of education.
Some of us were born in Tennessee and some of us chose to make Knoxville our home. Regardless of these differences, we have one thing in common: we are conservative Republicans. We’re concerned about the future of Knox County. We have seen the city of Knoxville move left and we don’t want that for the county. We’re not willing to sit by idly and watch Knox County become a liberal bastion. We are ready to do the hard work to keep our county conservative and we hope you’ll join us.
What We Believe
- Our free nature and constitutional rights are derived from God.
- Our State and U.S. Constitutions form the United States republic and define how we free Americans lawfully govern
- Citizens living in our American republic are called to participate in self-governance
- Tyrannical forces oppose our constitutional republic and are attempting to destroy the United States of America
- It is our duty to work within the Republican Party, and to anchor the Republican Party to its constitutional foundations
Mission Statement
KCCR Charter and Bylaws
We will take action to recruit, support, and elect constitutionalist, God-fearing, conservative Republican primary and general election candidates for local and state offices.
Secondarily, we will take actions that advance our causes both inside and outside of the District as approved by this organization’s leadership team.
Results & Accomplishments
Endorsed Successful 2024 Candidates
The Knox County Conservative Republican group was very active in the 2024 election cycle. Our group endorsed the following candidates who were either elected for a first term or re-elected: Angela Russell & Andy Fox (County Commission), Alex Cain (Farragut Alderman), and Elaine Davis (state representative).
In adddition to endorsing these candidates, KCCR was instrumental in helping them to achieve victory by strategically dispatching volunteers to knock on doors, make phone calls, text, and contact their friends and families.
Defeated the city of Knoxville’s Amendment 2 Referendum
Also in the 2024 election, the Knox County Conservative Republican group was successful in helping to defeat the city of Knoxville’s Amendment 2 Referendum. This referendum would have resulted in the disenfranchisement of voters in the city of Knoxville.
KCCR helped achieve this victory by knocking on our neighbor’s doors, texting, calling, and placing yard signs
Began organizing in 2023
Since its inception in 2023, the Knox County Conservative Republican group has successfully organized conservatives at the district level. In doing so, we have motivated formerly univolved conservatives to begin engaging in elections at the local and state level.
Also in 2023 and 2024, the group drafted four resolutions and sent them to elected officials to inform them of our stand on various issues.
