Several commissioners who are on the ballot this election — including those running for mayor — already have a voting record from their time on the County Commission.
KCCR has put together a list of 16 key County Commission votes. These votes help show whether a commissioner is staying true to conservative principles.
What We Have Accomplished Since Our Founding in 2023
Supported & Helped Adopt Legislative Changes at the State Level
KCCR members worked tirelessly to help get House Bill 0817 passed and signed into law. This law changed the way Knoxville City elections were run by allowing voters to only vote in their own district rather than in all districts.
KCCR members helped push back against gun control disguised as so-called Red Flag Laws
In addition, KCCR’s Resolutions Committee has written and distributed the following resolution to elected officials.
Helped Elect Conservatives at the Local Level
- Andy Fox – Knox County Commission, District 9
- Angela Russell – Knox County Commission, District 5
- Alex Cain – Farragut Board of Alderman
- KCCR members were instrumental in getting each of the above candidates elected. They accomplished this by knocking on doors, texting and calling voters, in addition to contributing financially.
- In addition, we won a massive victory in the 2025 Knox County Republican Party Convention, supporting a slate of five conservative candidates
Helped Elect a Conservative at the State Level in a Highly Contested Race
KCCR was instrumental in helping get Elaine Davis elected as State Representative to the 18th district.
Helped Change the Way Knoxville City Elections are Run
- Helped defeat the city of Knoxville referendum to get rid of city council districts
- Helped defeat the sales tax referendum.
- Helped flip the first city council district to a Republican in over a decade

KCCRTN District Meetings
1st & 2nd Districts -- Meeting in April with District 7 & 8 at bel air grill - 3820 neal drive @ 6:30pm
The 1st and 2nd districts are the only two county districts completely in the city. They include all of 4th & Gill, Alice Bell, Beaumont, Burlington, Downtown, East Knoxville, Fountain City, Inskip, Lonsdale, Mechanicsville, Morningside, North Hills, North Knoxville, Old City, Park City, Parkridge, West Haven, West View, Whittle Springs. West half of Chilhowee Hills, south half of Norwood, and most of Fort Sanders and Pond Gap
3rd, 4th, & 6th Districts - No meeting in April. Please feel free to attend the meeting listed below in the 5th district. When meetings resume, they will meet on the third Thursday of the month @ 630pm - 9724 Kingston Pike, Bldg 10, Suite 1000
Additional directions: Take Kingston Pike to Triplett Lane and turn into the first set of offices.
The 3rd district consists of Amherst, Ball Camp, Cedar Bluff, and Ridgedale.
The 4th district consists of Bearden, Blue Grass, Deane Hill, Northshore, Riverbend, Rocky Hill, Sequoyah Hills, and West Hills.
The 6th district is the northwest district of Knox County for commission and school board. It includes all of the Byington area, Cumberland Estates, Hardin Valley, Pleasant Ridge, and Solway. Almost all of the Karns area. Part of the Ball Camp community. Powell west of Clinton Highway. The north part of Norwood.
5th district - meets 4th tuesday @ 6:30pm - Farragut community center - 239 jamestowne blvd, #201
The 5th district is the most southwestern part of Knox County. It includes Choto Bend, Concord, and Farragut. A small section extends out east of I-140 in-between George Williams Rd and Westland Dr to Gallaher View Rd.
7th & 8th districts - Meets 4th Thursday @ 6:30pm - bel air grill - 3820 neal drive
The 7th district is most of north-central Knox County includes Heiskell, most of Halls, and Powell east of Clinton Hwy.
The 8th district is most of east Knox County and includes Carter, Corryton, Gibbs, Holston Hills, Mascot, Ritta, and Tuckahoe, part of Midway, and the east side of Shannondale.
9th District - Meets 3rd Tuesday @ 7:00pm - Shoneys, 2612 Chapman Highway
The 9th district is the south part of Knox County. It includes Forks Of The River, Island Home, Kimberlin Heights, Lake Forest, Lakemoor Hills, Mount Olive, South Doyle, South Knoxville, Topside, University of Tennessee Campus, Vestal.
